Open – no qualification is necessary

Entry Requirements

  • Croquet entry fee is $25 for the first event and $40 for two events. Entry fee includes an event t-shirt. T-shirts will be distributed on-site at designated competition check-in time. A short survey will be required to be completed at check-in. This survey can be found with the entry forms below, and can be completed in advance and brought to check-in.
  • Registration will begin July 2016. All entries must be received by November 16, 2016 or register online by November 18, 2016. Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the Event Director. Athletes registering after November 18, 2016 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt and may be subject to a $10 late fee.
  • Entry forms, waiver of liability and entry fee should be made payable to the Florida Sports Foundation (FSF). Save a stamp and register online!
  • Athletes may compete with only one partner for all games in doubles competition.
  • If you do not have a partner, please register and indicate “need partner” in the partner field. We will attempt to partner you with somebody.
  • Doubles partners may be mixed gender.
  • The age division of competition for Doubles will be determined by the younger age of the two partners.
  • Athletes must wear flat soled shoes and white/light colored clothing is preferred.


  • Athletes will be divided into flights or groups based on their skill level and play three or four 45-minute games depending on group size. Award placement will be based on each individual’s score.
  • Players will be assigned games based on their skill level, and game scores will be dually computed to meet the Florida Senior Games age and gender division requirements.
  • Singles and doubles matches will consist of three or four block games and one or two elimination games.
  • Games will be to seven points with number of wins and points attained during each 45 minute time period used to determine who shall play in the elimination ladder for prizes.
  • The number of single wins and points will be added to each contestants score. The total number of wins will determine the winning individual, with the total number of points used in case of ties.
  • Awards received from the Croquet Foundation of America will be based solely on skill level.
  • Fourth place ribbons will be awarded in addition to Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for Florida residents. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to top overall athletes if non-residents are in contention for medals.
  • Format changes are at the discretion of the Event Director.
  • Players should be prepared to compete the entire day.

Sport Rules

  • All Croquet matches will be conducted in accordance with United States Croquet Association rules.
