SOUTHEAST SPORTS FESTIVAL
August 1-3, Tallahassee, Florida


The Southeast Sports Festival is the regional championships for State Games athletes from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina and Virginia.  Held every Olympic-year, the Southeast Sports Festival is open to any athlete competing at a State Games from of the six participating states.  Hosted by Alabama, the inaugural Southeast Sports Festival was held in July 2006, featuring eight sports and over 1,200 athletes.  

It is now Florida’s turn to host the Southeast Sports Festival!  In 2008, the Southeast Sports Festival will be held August 1-3 in Tallahassee, Florida.  Nine sports will be offered and over 2,000 athletes are expected to compete.  Sports offered are:

Baseball

Basketball

Fencing

Flag Football - Adult

Lacrosse

Soccer

Taekwondo

Tennis

Track & Field
