Honoring Florida's Sunshine State Games Gold Medalists

Over the last three months, Sunshine State Games competitions have been going on throughout the state.  Over 1,100 individual gold medals were awarded to Florida's Finest Amateur Athletes.

CLICK HERE to see a listing of amateur athletes who won gold medals in the Sunshine State Games Sports Shooting, Figure Skating and Artistic Rollerskating Championships and the 2009 Summer Games in Polk County.

On the page, there is an email link so athletes can send in details of their gold medal winning performances or photos.

This page gives athletes the opportunity to brag a bit to friends, family and neighbors about their performance at Florida's only Olympic-style Sports Festival.

The FSF thanks all of the athletes, volunteers and the Polk County Community that made the 30th Anniversary Games such a success.

CLICK HERE to go to the Sunshine State Games Results and News page to find out all the happenings  of the weekend.  Over 4,500 athletes competed in 19 sports over the Sunshine State Games weekend of June 12-14.
