Commitment to Transparency
The Florida Sports Foundation (FSF) values transparency and accountability in order to ensure good stewardship of taxpayer dollars. FSF’s activities are reported quarterly to Enterprise Florida and the Department of Economic Opportunity, and undergoes annual audit. Additionally, Florida Sports Foundation Board meetings are publicly-noticed and in compliance with the Florida Sunshine Law. Florida Sports Foundation is committed to the highest level of transparency.
The Florida Sports Foundation, as a division of Enterprise Florida, is governed by a Board of Directors whose members are appointed by Enterprise Florida. FSF is a 501(C)3 non-profit established as a direct support organization operating under contract with the Department of Economic Opportunity.
The Florida Sports Foundation operates in compliance with the Florida Public Records Law, Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, governing the public’s right to access records.
